Ernesto Castano (2 May 1939 – 5 January 2023) was an Italian professional football defender. He played for Legnano, Triestina, and Juventus during his club career, winning domestic titles with the latter. He was a member of the Italian national team that won the UEFA Euro 1968.
In the Province of Milan, Cinisello Balsamo is where Castano was born. He played club football for three Italian teams throughout the course of his career: Legnano, Triestina, and most notably Juventus, where he won multiple domestic championships while also holding the position of team captain.
