A new injury is plaguing Paul George. The LA Clippers forward may miss a few games after tweaking his right hamstring against the Miami Heat on Monday night.
Even though George and the Clippers played well against the Heat, they lost their first game of 2023, 110-100. They now have a record of 21-18, which puts them in sixth place in the Western Conference.
What happened to Paul George NBA?
The dynamic forward led his squad in scoring against the Heat, scoring 25 points on 7 of 16 shooting. George’s box score also included three rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.
Unfortunately for the Clippers, he strained his right hamstring during the game. This injury has been sustained by the forward twice in less than two months.
The Clippers have experienced significant injury issues in recent seasons. Given that Kawhi Leonard has missed 23 games so far in the 2022–23 season, the situation hasn’t changed much.
George has also struggled to maintain his health. The seven-time All-Star has missed 10 games for the Clippers this season after playing in only 31 games all of last season. The Clippers are 4-6 without him.
