Nelli Tembe was a South African entertainment enthusiast who is best known as the fiancee of popular South African rapper AKA.
Nelli Tembe died unexpectedly on 11 April 2021 at the age of 22. She was born in 1999.
Nelli Tembe’s death occurred in 2021 and a year later, AKA and others are remembering and paying tribute to her.
In a post on AKA’s Instagram page, he wrote;
‘I’ll remember this day for the rest of my life. 11/04/2021. Every day I pray for the healing of your family and my family.’
‘I hope one day we can all come together and pay our respects to you and your memory at the same place and at the same time.’
What happened to Nelli Tembe?
Nelli Tembe died after she jumped from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Central Cape Town on Sunday, April 11, 2021. After investigation, it is confirmed that Nelli Tembe committed suicide on that very day.
