John Christopher Depp born June 9, 1963, is an actor, producer, and musician from the United States.

He has won numerous awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award and three Academy Awards, and two British Academy Film Awards.

Depp met Vanessa Paradis, a French actress, and singer in 1998 while filming The Ninth Gate in France.

The couple had 2 children together, Lily-Rose Melody Depp (born 1999) and John Christopher Depp III (born 2002).

Depp remarked that having children has given him a new perspective on life “You can’t plan the kind of deep love that results in children, but you can plan a solid foundation, a real strong place to stand in life, at work, in everything.

It was not an intentional decision to become a father. It was all part of the incredible journey I was on. It was a matter of fate. All of the calculations came together in the end.”  In June 2012, Depp and Paradis confirmed their separation.

Towards the middle quarter of 2018, their son Jack was reported to have serious health issues which led to his mother missing the premiere of her new film “A Knife in the Heart”.

The family however turned down requests for comments on Jack’s illness so it remains unclear the specifics of the celebrity child’s ailments are. It is however reported that the now 21-year-old Jack is in good health.
