A few days ago, Anne Heche struck a house in Los Angeles with her automobile. In order to allow One Legacy to determine whether the actress is a match for organ donation, her heart is still beating and she has not been taken off of life support.
Family and friends lament the loss of “a bright light, a lovely and most joyous person, a loving mother, and a faithful friend.”
Homer Laffoon: “I’m hoping my mom is out of agony and starting to experience what I like to think of as her eternal freedom.”
After sustaining anoxic brain damage, Heche, 53, was in a coma and in a “severe” condition, according to her representative. Heche was being treated at West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles’ Grossman Burn Center.
Heche left Ellen DeGeneres in 2000 for Coleman “Coley” Laffoon, a cinematographer she had met the year before while performing stand-up comedy.
After five and a half years of marriage, the couple split in 2007. They got married in 2001 and had a kid in March 2002.
Laffoon currently works as a real estate broker. He owns a company called The Laffoon Group which he runs with his current wife Alexis Laffoon. He is also an accomplished actor.
