We’ve had enough of Nana Ama McBrown – Fans tell TV3, Media General

Viewers of Media General channels, TV3 and Onua FM, have said they’ve had enough of the unveiling of actress and TV personality Nana Ama McBrown.

Since signing the multiple award-winning Kumawood and Ghallywood star from United Television (UTV), Media General have had a string of never-ending unveiling ceremonies.

The unveiling, which kicked off Monday (March 13), has been through many stages.

First, it started with a grand welcome featuring Adowa and Kete dance and live mini concert, followed by a huge welcome from Media General employees garbed in McBrown’s branded t-shirts. Then, a series of talk shows and radio interviews continued.

But the last straw for fans who believe the unveiling has been overstretched was when Nana Ama McBrown appeared on TV3’s Mentor show Thursday to perform with the young stars.

Fans poured out their displeasure on the official Instagram page of TV3.

“Ei Tv3 it’s OK….we know she’s with you now,” Instagram user ‘teena.marley’ stated.

“Is this teasing or advertisement…anaaaa gentle reminder,” user rica.babes_ stated.

Another user ‘designed_by_denora’ added: “It’s more than you’ve won the lottery…Mo dwi Mo ho.”

Nana AMa McBrown will join Onua FM, a subsidiary of Media General, as a host. It’s unclear whether she would have shows on Media General’s most popular network, TV3.

So far, the name of her show and hosting time is yet to be communicated.
