John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has boldly declared that his party is determined to emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.
During the funeral of the former minister of information and Member of Parliament for Talensi, John Tia Akologo, Mahama emphasized the NDC’s commitment to ensuring a fair and just electoral process.
Mahama expressed his concerns about the possibility of election rigging by the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) and urged the clergy to advocate for justice as well as peace in the lead-up to the polls. He reiterated that the focus of the December elections should be on the well-being of Ghana, rather than partisan interests.
“This election is about Ghana and the NPP, not just the NDC and NPP. We need to reset our nation and rescue it from the crisis that has been exacerbated by the current NPP administration,” Mahama emphasized.
As the political landscape heats up in anticipation of the elections, Mahama’s rallying cry for a fair and transparent electoral process is resonating with supporters as they gear up for a competitive campaign season.
