Bofoakwa Tano Coach Confident of Premier League Survival

Head coach of Bofoakwa Tano, John Eduafo, is feeling positive about his team’s chances of remaining in the Ghana Premier League for the upcoming season. The Sunyani-based club currently sits just above the relegation zone with eight games left in the 2023/24 season, holding onto the 15th position with 30 points.

After a recent draw against Nations FC, Eduafo expressed his belief in the team’s ability to stay in the top-flight league. He called on the club’s fans to continue supporting the team through the challenging times ahead.

“We will maintain our status in the Ghana Premier League. The team belongs to the fans, so I will plead with them to keep supporting us and we promise them that, by hook or crook we will survive in the league. In tough times like this, we will need the fans the most,” Eduafo said in an interview with Kessben FM.

Bofoakwa Tano will face Bechem United at the Sunyani Coronation for matchday 27 of the Ghanaian Premier League this Sunday. The team will be looking to secure a crucial win to boost their chances of avoiding relegation at the end of the season.
