In their Group C match against Ghana, Mozambique’s coach, Chiquinho Conde, says the team’s strategy is to frustrate them, referring to the match as a final.

At the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, both Ghana and Mozambique, as the third-placed teams, have a chance to advance.

The Black Stars and Pharaohs drew 2-2 in Egypt, as did Mozambique and the Pharaohs; however, both sides suffered defeats at the hands of league leaders Cape Verde.

The other group game between Ghana and Mozambique will take place on Monday, with the Blue Sharks taking on the seven-time champions.

“We’re going to play this game with everything we’ve got. Ghana is understandably frustrated and uneasy, given that they haven’t won a game despite having some quality. When they play, they also draw inspiration from the crowd. He said, “We’re going to try to provoke them and treat the match like a final,” at the pregame news conference.
