Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has disclosed that she has made peace with colleague Fancy Gadam following a 2022 incident that caused tension between them.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Thursday, June 6, Sista Afia mentioned that she no longer holds any grudges against Fancy Gadam as they have resolved the issue amicably.
“We are cool, we have squashed everything. We spoke on the phone and we agreed with ourselves. We have let go as humans because it had already happened,” she shared on Hitz FM.
The incident in question occurred when Sista Afia had booked Fancy Gadam for her concert back in 2022. However, Fancy Gadam pulled out a week before the concert after initially agreeing to a fee of GH¢50,000, leaving Sista Afia disappointed.
Despite the initial rift, Sista Afia stated that they have now settled their differences peacefully, although she did not confirm any plans for a collaboration between them.
“I can’t promise I will be going up there again but let’s observe as the days progress. I am still in the industry, it might not be my show that might lead me there but let’s just observe and await God’s timing,” she explained.
