Dreams FC assistant coach Wilfred Dormon has reiterated that the team will be solely responsible if they fail to secure the necessary points to avoid relegation at the end of the Ghana Premier League season.

The team’s impressive performance in the recent CAF Confederation Cup campaign has carried over into the domestic league this season. Despite reaching the semifinals of the Confederation Cup, Dreams FC find themselves in 13th place on the Ghana Premier League standings with 38 points, with two games still to be played.

With only six games left in the season, Dormon emphasized the importance of fighting for every point to ensure survival in the top-flight league. Following a victory against Legon Cities on Wednesday, Dreams FC moved up in the league standings, but Dormon knows that the team cannot afford to become complacent.

In an interview with the media, Dormon acknowledged that the team’s league performance has not been up to par and stressed the need for them to consistently outperform their opponents in the remaining games.

Dreams FC will face Bibiani Goldstars in matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, and Dormon is determined to see the team secure a positive result. As they look to secure their top-flight status for next season, Dreams FC will need to continue fighting until the final whistle of the season.
