Hearts of Oak assistant coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru has made it clear that his team is determined to finish the Ghana Premier League season on a high note by avoiding any more losses.
After a thrilling 3-1 victory against their opponents, Hearts of Oak are now focused on maintaining their winning streak in the remaining games of the league.
“We are going all out now, we can’t afford to lose any match again in the league,” coach Bashiru emphasized after the game. The Phobians showed great resilience in their recent fixture as they came back from an early deficit to secure the win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Dafie Mumin Mohammed put the visitors in the lead just four minutes into the game, but Hearts of Oak fought back with goals from Hamza Issa and a stunning long-range strike from Salim Adams. The impressive comeback has boosted the team’s morale as they prepare to face Legon Cities in their next match.
Currently sitting in 10th place on the league table with 35 points from 26 games, Hearts of Oak are determined to climb up the standings in the remaining fixtures.
