Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum believes his team is the underdog as they prepare to face Samartex FC in the upcoming Ghana Premier League match this weekend.
Despite acknowledging Samartex FC as the favorite, Coach Ogum remains hopeful that his team will put up a good fight and secure a victory.
In an interview with Opemsuo Radio, Coach Ogum praised Samartex FC for their consistent performance throughout the season, highlighting their impressive results. He admitted that Asante Kotoko’s performance has not been up to standard, considering their position on the league table.
“We are going into this game as underdogs. If you look at our recent results, it is clear that Samartex stands as the favorites. As a team, we are aware of this and we are working hard to get the results we are looking for. We are working on all aspects of the game to ensure we can match them boot for boot,” Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum stated.
The highly anticipated match between Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 21, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
