Instead of succumbing to the depression and heartaches that come with a broken heart, fast-rising afrobeats singer Shadey (Destiny) turns his pain into music.
After surviving hard times with his ex-girlfriend who achingly ditched him for another guy, the singer writes a new song, titled “Level Change”, and the result is sizzling.
Produced by Chapter Beat, the up-tempo jam walks listeners through the difficult times Shadey went through and how God turned his life around.
“It’s a true story,” he says. “I went through a difficult time with my ex-girlfriend. But now, my level has changed. I’m happily married.”
The song is accompanied by a self-directed music video featuring a cameo appearance from boxing champion, Bukom Banku.
