Highly decorated Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has won the maiden Best International Flow category at the 2019 BET Hiphop Awards.
Sarkodie beat Nasty C (South Africa), Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K), Kalash (France), Tory Lanez (Canada) and Lil Sims (U.K) to win the newly conceived award.
In his acceptance speech, Sarkodie urged the audience to return to Ghana as part of appreciating their roots, in accordance with the rationale behind the Year of Return concept.
