Late musician Emmanuel Kwame Anokye aka Anokye Supremo has finally been laid to rest.

His finally funeral burial service was held at Atomic Energy Park near the Atomic Police Station in Accra where his family, friends, fans and some musicians were present to say their final goodbye.

He was laid in state early morning on Saturday for the filing past ceremony.

The Daddy Lumba look-alike died on January 30, 2019, in India while undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumour which left him partially blind.

Anokye was in a coma for some weeks since the operation at the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Mukundapur in India.

Before his trip to India, he had struggled to raise enough funds for his surgery but suddenly died after the surgery.

The funeral poster indicates Anokye Supremo left behind a daughter, Linda Anokyewaa.

He is known for his songs ‘Befa Me’, ‘Efri Nea Efire’ and ‘Hye Wo Ho Den’, ‘Krom Aye De’, among others.
