Victor Lewis-Smith was a British film, television, and radio producer, as well as a television and restaurant critic, satirist, and newspaper columnist who died on December 10, 2022. He was the ITV1 Annual National Food & Drink Awards executive producer. He graduated from the University of York. Lewis-documentary, Smith’s The Undiscovered Peter Cook, aired on BBC Four in November 2016 as the first in a series. Lewis-Smith made three more documentaries in the style of The Undiscovered Peter Cook for Sky Arts in December 2018, this time about Peter Sellers, Kenneth Williams, and Tony Hancock. Lewis-Smith was the executive producer of a Channel 4 documentary series hosted by Keith Allen. This included biographies of Nick Griffin, the then-leader of the British National Party, Lottery winner Michael Carroll, TV chef Keith Floyd (who died two hours before the show aired), and “child prodigy” Lauren Harries.
