Kirshnik Khari Ball (born June 18, 1994) is an American rapper who goes by the stage name Takeoff. Takeoff is best known as a member of the hip hop group Migos, along with his uncle Quavo and first cousin twice removed Offset.

Takeoff began rapping with family members Quavo and Offset in 2008. The group’s original name was Polo Club, but they later changed it to Migos. On August 25, 2011, the group released Juug Season, their first full-length project. They released the mixtape No Label on June 1, 2012.
Migos rose to prominence after the release of their 2013 single “Versace.” Drake remixed the song, which charted at 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 31 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Culture, Migos’ second studio album, was released on January 27, 2017, and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling 131,000 album-equivalent units, including 44,000 copies sold, in its first week. In July 2017, the album was certified platinum in the United States.
