He was 67 years old at the time.
Was Ray Liotta in Field of Dreams?
Ray contributed to the huge success of the movie.
Those remarks are ranked 39th among the top film quotes of all time, according to the American Film Institute (AFI).
At various times throughout his life, Ray’s father, John Kinsella, has supported the White Sox and the Yankees. “Field of Dreams” was a finalist in MLB.com’s Bleachers Features bracket earlier this month, which determined the finest baseball movie.
The White Sox and Yankees played the first Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa in 2021, on the movie’s field. On August 11, the Cubs and Reds will play in the Field of Dreams game.
After acting in Jonathan Demme’s “Something Wild” in 1986 (for which he received a Golden Globe nomination), Liotta played “Shoeless” Joe Jackson in “Field of Dreams,” which helped bring the story of the 1919 Black Sox to the big screen.
