The youngest of three kids is Newton-John. Her family relocated to Australia in 1954. She and the girl group “Sol Four” won a competition at her school when she was twelve. She made her film debut at the age of 17, singing “Christmas Time Down Under” in the 1965 film Funny Things Happen Down Under. Soon after, she participated in a talent competition and took first place, earning a vacation to England. She signed a record deal with Decca Records and issued “Till You Say You’ll Be Mine” as her debut song in 1966.

At the age of 73, Newton-John passed away from cancer on August 8, 2022, at her property in California.
