Jimmie David Post, popularly known as Jim Post was an American folk singer-songwriter, composer, playwright and actor whose pop song “Reach out of the Darkness” charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks, peaking at number 10 in 1968. As we speak, the singer is no more since he has been reported dead. The renowned singer was born to his parents on October 28, 1939, in Houston, Texas, United States but sadly passed away on September 14, 2022.
