Guiffre has pursued various civil and criminal suits against Jeffery Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and has granted many interviews sharing her experience being trafficked by the pair.
In 2014, Guiffre described her experiences being trafficked to England’s Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. In 2021, she filed a civil lawsuit against the Duke.
The Duke of York however denied all claims and accusations and asked for the case to be dismissed.
However this was denied and on February 15, 2022, it was announced that The Duke of York and Virginia Louise Giuffre reached an out-of-court settlement.
