Veteran Hong Kong actress Violet Lee Ying has passed away at the age of 70 after suffering a fall at her home in Vancouver.

Violet Lee Ying death news was confirmed by friend Gigi Wong, who said that she was contacted by a relative who told her about Violet ‘s passing. She died on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
“She fell several days ago but didn’t see the doctor. She told friends that it was just a sprain and refused to go to the hospital. A friend then cooked her food and left it at her door. She was still fine the last time I called her,” she said.
Her eldest daughter Winnie also confirmed the news, and told the media, “I don’t have much to say, and I hope the outside world will give us some space… Lee Ying is indeed majestic, proving that many people cherish her. I am so lucky to be your daughter, and I hope to continue this fate with you in the next life!”
The actress, who had moved to Canada, was last seen in the movie, “Twelve Days” where Stephy Tang played her daughter. She also starred in “Stories of Lion Rock Spirit 2022”.
