Shortly after the unexpected death of Ghana’s Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah, a vintage video featuring controversial Onua TV and radio host Captain Smart making a death prediction has appeared online.
Captain Smart told John Kumah’s close friends that he had been poisoned, according to a video that has gone viral on social media.
Captain Smart claims that prominent members of the New Patriotic Party devised a plan to meet with John Kumah and then poison him because they believed he was becoming too popular for anybody to challenge.
Captain Smart stated, “Anyone who knows John Kumah should pick up the phone and tell him that he has been poisoned in Kumasi.”
“John Kumah met with a few influential people. It was intended for John Kumah to gain greater prominence in order to give the impression that he was becoming unbeatable,” Captaine Smart said.
Captain Smart mentioned that John Kumah had traveled to India to investigate his poisoning after learning that it had been done on purpose, but his efforts were unsuccessful.
John Kumah has endured great suffering in his attempt to cleanse himself of the poison, according to Captain Smart.
According to Captain “Take out your phone and find out if Chairman Wontumi didn’t enjoyed some of the poisoned meal? Thus, they believed John Kumah was alright when they learned that people who were following him learned that Chairman Wontumi was responding to the news.”
Continuing, “John Kumah knows that he was purposefully poisoned. He’s had a lot of suffering, so I can tell you the exact day and hour he traveled to India to treat himself.

We will never know until an autopsy is done. Even that, the truth may never come out.
However, Captain Smart’s name has been caught up in the news because of this allegation made some time ago about some members of the NPP vs John Kumah…pic.twitter.com/HwT1NUmFhP https://t.co/OmocxcgfHM
