Soulja Boy is giving his followers kisses over the phone after they helped him amass a little fortune on TikTok in a single day.

The rapper, whose actual name is DeAndre Cortez Way, believes that the video-sharing app is a better option than Instagram since, after only one successful live session, he saw an increase in his financial balance.

He disclosed that he has decided to permanently leave the Meta platform after realizing the value of having an online presence.

Soulja Boy, who made thousands of dollars in a matter of hours on TikTok, declared he would laugh himself silly if his rapid success keeps up.

He added that he had realized the income potential he had on the competitor social media site during what he claimed to be his final Instagram Live ever, and he said he would now solely be conversing with supporters there.

The American music sensation then encouraged his 7.2 million followers to visit his TikTok account @souljaboytv instead of bragging about the large sums of money he had made.

With great excitement, Soulja Boy declared he was “retiring” from Instagram.

“I’m not going to lie, folks—Instagram isn’t moving,” he declared. I need everyone to follow me on TikTok since I’m about to depart from Instagram.

I’m quitting Instagram Live since we placed in the top 10 for the final two days of our live stream. Do you feel me?

“I’m not just going to go live on TikTok. Yes, I am saying goodbye to Instagram Live.

“I’m retiring, you guys can have Instagram. Let this s**t end.”

Then, Soulja Boy disclosed the staggering sum of money he had made in a single day on the video-sharing website.

With great excitement, he revealed that he had made an incredible $17,833 (£13,869) from a single TikTok live.

Expect a couple of live event shows from Souja Boy based on this new development.
