A generous gesture has been exhibited by the Founder and General Overseer of Philadelphia Movement, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, as he has set aside over GH¢40 million to support 20,000 financially challenged congregants nationwide. This act of kindness is unheard of in the realm of churches where congregants usually bear the responsibility of fundraising to sustain the church financially.
Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah’s benevolence has not gone unnoticed, as this is not the first time he has extended support to his members. In 2022, he gifted congregants GH¢86 million, and in 2023, he distributed GH¢20 million to enhance their livelihoods. Each beneficiary has received a minimum of GH¢2,000.00, a sum that has served as a source of hope to many as they plan to utilize the funds to expand their businesses.
The recipients of this act of kindness have expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the support provided by the leadership of Philadelphia Movement. They have taken to social media to showcase the cash received and share their testimonies, showcasing the impact of the financial support on their lives.
Looking towards the future, the Head brother of Philadelphia Movement at Pokuase Katapor, Emmanuel Cobbina, emphasized the importance of assisting the less privileged in society and demonstrating compassion towards believers.
