Well-known Snapchat influencer Dulcie Boateng shared details about how she made money and how she managed to construct a mansion in only a single year.
Dulcie Boateng said in an exclusive interview with Delay on The Delay Show that it was thanks to her grandmother’s land offer that she was able to construct her house in just one year.
She said that she used to sell glasses to pay for the renovation project and moved in with her mother in 2019. This was before she started to post on Snapchat and engage in brand collaborations.
The Ghanaian influencer, 26, highlighted the impact Snapchat has had on her finances. “I charge GH¢15,000 for ambassadorial deals, and in a month, I take about GH¢8k to GH¢10k. So we are looking at GH¢120,000 to GH¢150,000 from ambassadorial deals only,” she explained, breaking down her average monthly income.
She listed Pizzaman, Int*mate Queen, Body Zone, and Whole Beauty as some of the brands she has worked with, and she added that they paid her regularly for a full year. She continued by saying that other companies pay her to advertise their products on Snapchat.
According to Miss Boateng, she also earns money from location-based and quick adverts. She admitted that she occasionally sells her goods, but she is too busy promoting other people’s enterprises to spend time on that.
