Victoria Smurfit (born 12 September 1984) is an Irish singer, songwriter, and television personality. She rose to fame on the British television show “Britain’s Got Talent”, where she reached the final twelve. Smurfit represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song “Sound of Silence”. She finished in seventh place.

She has also appeared in many other TV series, including “Ballykissangel,” “North and South,” “The Clinic,” “Cold Feet,” “Bulletproof,” and “Once Upon a Time.” In addition to her television work, Smurfit has also performed on stage in London’s West End and at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin.

Victoria Smurfit is the daughter of Irish media mogul Dermot Smurfit and his wife Victoria Smurfit (née Henley).

Her father Dermot Smurfit is the former Chairman and CEO of the Jefferson Smurfit Group, one of the world’s largest paper and packaging companies. Her mother Victoria Henley is a former model and daughter of the 8th Earl of Shannon. Victoria Smurfit was born on March 31, 1974, in Dublin, Ireland, and is one of six children in the Smurfit family.
