| Frenchman butchers 4-months pregnant wife to death in Bekwai |
A Frenchman, with name withheld who is believed to be in his 30’s, has murdered his 4 months old pregnant wife, Betty, at Koniyaw near Bekwai in the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred Friday 30th September 2016 around 11:30pm, Adehye3 FM’s Owoahene Addai Munukum has reported.
The suspect allegedly ambushed the wife in their room and slashed her several times with a machete until she died. It is unclear what triggered his gruesome act.

The culprit is currently at large and is being sought by the Police and the youth of Koniyaw. A relative of the deceased, Janet, who is a sister to Betty told Owoahene Addai Munukum the suspect invited the deceased into their room and inflicted the cutlass wounds when a wake-keeping was ongoing.
Meanwhile, the police have conveyed the lifeless body of Betty to Bekwai hospital mogue.
