Talia’uli Latukefu is an Australian actor and musician best known for his appearances as Byamba in the American Netflix series Marco Polo and Dwayne Johnson in the NBC comedy Young Rock. He also portrayed Darren Ngata in seasons 2-4 of the well-liked Australian drama series Doctor Doctor from 2017 to 2020. Both the short film Alien: Covenant – Prologue: Last Supper and the full film Alien: Covenant, both of which were directed by Ridley Scott and debuted on February 22 and May 19, respectively, featured him as Cole.
He is well renowned for his roles in the psychological thriller miniseries Devil’s Playground as Father Matteo and as “Kool Kris” in the Chris Lilley mockumentary series Jonah from Tonga. He competed in the reality singing competition series Australian Idol in 2004. He played the superhero Hurut in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film Black Adam in 2022.
Latukefu is of Tongan heritage and a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). He currently resides in Sydney, Australia.
