Richmond Nyarko Obeng, Lance Corporal of the Ghana Police Service is on trend after graduating as valedictorian from the University of Ghana (UG) over the weekend.
Lance Corporal Nyarko Obeng graduated with a first-class degree in Administration (with a major in Accounting) with a remarkable grade point average of 3.82 out of 4.0.
His journey to this achievement began in 2016 when he joined the Ghana Police Service after finishing his school education.
After graduating as the second-best overall recruit from Tesano’s National Police Training School in July 2017, he went on to be named the top detective in his course at Tesano’s Detective Training Academy in 2018.
He works with the Criminal Investigation Department’s Financial Forensics Unit at the moment.
Lance Corporal Nyarko Obeng actively pursued his prior education before to receiving his police training.
He completed his elementary education at Presby Basic School in Akyem Ankaase, and his junior high education at Christ Mediation International School in Atimatim-Edwenease.
At Adanwomase Senior High School, where he was not only an exceptional student but also assumed leadership positions, such as Dining Hall Prefect and Secretary of the National Union of Presbyterian Students-Ghana (NUPS-G), he maintained his academic excellence.
