Tyson Fury has confirmed that he is in talks to fight again in November in a London stadium against Game of Thrones actor Hafthor Bjornsson.
WBC champion Fury announced his retirement from boxing after defeating Dillian Whyte by knockout at Wembley Stadium in April.
However, he is already discussing returning for an exhibition match against Bjornsson, a fellow strongman who defeated Hall in March. The match is reportedly scheduled for an undisclosed London football stadium.
It would be a little entertaining, Fury said in a statement to the press. ( It would be fantastic to enter the ring in front of, let’s say, 70,000 spectators, show him what boxing is all about, force him to miss, and finish him off).
We are currently speaking with his team, and I am undoubtedly interested in it.
On the other hand, Bjornsson further acknowledged that discussions with Fury’s camp were still going on in an exclusive interview with the media on Monday.
(I know that there are some talks and negotiations taking place, but nothing is finalized, he said. If it did, I would gladly enter the ring and engage in combat with him,) he added.
