Tyson Beckford is an American actor and Ralph Lauren Polo model. He was born on December 19, 1970. Beckford was born in Rochester, New York to a Jamaican mother, Hillary Dixon Hall, and a Panamanian father, Lloyd Beckford, both of whom had Jamaican and Chinese-Jamaican ancestors.
His mother moved the family to Jamaica soon after his birth, where they stayed for seven years before relocating to Rochester, New York, where he attended and graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School. Tyson was regularly teased at school for his appearance.

In an interview with Erik on August 20, 2021’s VLADTV, Beckford claimed that Jeff Jones was not the one who “discovered” him and said that Erik “gets the credit.”
