Tyler Higbee (born January 1, 1993) is a National Football League tight end for the Los Angeles Rams (NFL). He attended Western Kentucky University and was drafted by the Rams in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Tyler Higbee was born on January 1, 1993, as the eldest son of Michael J. Higbee and Lori Higbee.
Higbee attended Western Kentucky University to play college football for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. He was rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com. He caught 15 passes for 230 yards and four touchdowns in his junior year. In his senior year, he hauled 38 passes for 563 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was regarded as one of college football’s top tight-end prospects.
Higbee accepted his invitation to compete in the 2016 Senior Bowl, it was revealed on December 14, 2015. Due to the knee sprain he sustained during the season, Higbee had been removed from the Senior Bowl, Select Sports Group officials announced on January 23, 2016. 15 tight ends from colleges attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, including Higbee. Due to his knee injury, he could not participate in any drills, but he met with the teams and had measurements taken instead.
He met privately with the Denver Broncos and the New Orleans Saints during the draft process. Higbee was projected by NFL draft experts and scouts to be a fourth or fifth-round pick at the end of the pre-draft process. Sports Illustrated ranked him as the fourth-best tight-end prospect in the draft, while NFLDraftScout.com ranked him fifth.
