According to Paul Twum Barimah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Dormaa East, Bono Region, the party is well-positioned to maintain its good policies in the general election of 2024 thanks to a cohesive platform and effective communication tactics.
Additionally, he gave the voters his word that he would make efforts to maintain the party’s vitality in the district, the surrounding area, and the nation at large.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Mr. Barimah stated that he had received the endorsement of NPP delegates to run as the party’s 2024 parliamentary candidate for Dormaa East.
This came about after he had won the support of the constituency delegates conference, which was held in Wamfie, the constituency headquarters, without facing any opposition.
The region’s chiefs, all 12 constituency chairs, pastors, imams, opinion leaders, and party representatives from the regional office were among the many in attendance, much to the delight of the general public.
Kofi Boateng, the regional secretary, spoke on behalf of the regional chairman and said that Mr. Barimah had shown good leadership, humility, and reflected the region’s future.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Barimah, also known as PTB, expressed his sincere gratitude to the people of Dormaa East, polling station executives, coordinators, constituency executives, chiefs, and constituents for their support and confidence in him, as well as for their endorsement of him for a second term.
In addition, he urged the party faithful “to work hard to ensure we break the 8” and urged unity among the party’s rank and file.
