Two siblings sustain gunshot wounds during military raid in Bole

Two siblings, Shiraz-Deen Mohammed and Mahama Yakubu, are currently recovering from gunshot wounds after a recent raid by men in military uniform.

The siblings suffered injuries to their head and arms and were rushed to the Bole Hospital in the Savannah Region for treatment.

While the authorities have not issued an official statement about the raid, residents believe it may be linked to illegal mining activities in the district.

Sources in Bole suggest a connection between the raid and a series of mysterious killings in the area, where 20 people were brutally murdered without any arrests made.

Authorities suspect that illegal miners could be involved in the killings, prompting the crackdown to drive them out of Bole.

The incident has raised concerns among residents and sparked fears of further violence in the area.

The Bole community is awaiting more information from the authorities on the motives behind the raid and the ongoing investigation into the murders.
