Japanese wrestler who won a gold medal in the flyweight class at the 1964 Olympics Tsutomu Hanahara has sadly passed away. He competed at the 1958 and 1967 world championships and finished in sixth and third place, respectively.

Greco-Roman(3rd); 1958 World Championship: 52.0 kg. Grreco-Roman (6th); 1962 Asian Games: 52.0 kg. Greco-Roman (2nd). He stands at a height of 5 feet and 3 inches tall or 1.60 m, and weighs 58 kg or 128 lb.
