On January 30, 1999, Trey Sermon, a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League, was born. (NFL). Before being chosen by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he played college football at Oklahoma and Ohio State.

Sermon made his first career start in Week 3 and ran for 31 yards and a score while also adding two receptions for three yards and another score. Due to an ankle injury he suffered in Week 12, he was put on injured reserve on December 4, 2021. His first day of operation was January 11, 2022. On August 31, 2022, Sermon was released by the 49ers.
