On January 2, 1999, the National Football League’s Chicago Bears gave birth to Trestan Ebner, a running back and return specialist. He was a Baylor football player in college.
Ebner was born and raised in Henderson, Texas, and graduated from Henderson High School. During his final season, he had 57 receptions for 1,074 yards and 16 touchdowns.
In his first season, Ebner participated in 11 games, rushing for 121 yards and two touchdowns and hauling in 20 receptions for 267 yards and three more. In his sophomore year, he ran for 413 yards on 69 attempts and added 29 receptions for 348 yards and one touchdown.
In order to take advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted to college athletes who competed in the 2020 season as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, he decided to return to Baylor for a fifth season. Ebner’s sixth season saw him take home the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year award once more.
