Tottenham equalised 68 minutes in through Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, but it was the build-up that enraged Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, as Kai Havertz appeared to be fouled. Both Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel were celebrating when they collided and received yellow cards.

Soon after, Tuchel was celebrating when Reece James raced into the box and Raheem Sterling laid the ball on a plate for him to fire past Hugo Lloris and complete the scoring on 77 minutes.

Chelsea appeared to be taking all three points, but Kane got his head to the ball from an inswinging corner deep into stoppage time and earned the draw.

Another clash occurred at full-time when the managers went to shake hands, resulting in an intense squabble before both were shown red cards.

Both teams had a lively start, but Chelsea began to dominate the early stages, with their wing-backs seeing a lot of the ball.
