Frank Anthony Vallelonga Sr. popularly known as Tony Lip, was an American actor.
He was best known for his portrayal of crime boss Carmine Lupertazzi in the HBO series, The Sopranos.

Tony Lip was married to Dolores Vallelonga, until her death in 1999. The couple had two sons, Nick Vallelonga and Frank Vallelonga Jr.
Nick Vallelonga began his career following his father’s footsteps into acting. He started with minor roles in films including The Godfather, Splash, Goodfellas, and Prizzi’s Honor.
He later pursued a career in screenwriting and made his debut with Deadfall. While still acting, he wrote and directed various independent films, including A Brilliant Disguise, The Corporate Ladder, Choker, Stiletto, and Yellow Rock.
However, his claim to fame came when he co-wrote and produced the 2018 American biographical comedy-drama, Green Book. The movie focused on the friendship between his father and classical and jazz pianist and composer Don Shirley.
