David Oliver “D. J.” Jones (born January 19, 1995) is a nose tackle for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). Jones played college football at Ole Miss. The 49ers selected Jones in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Jones attended East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi, which was featured in the 2016 Netflix documentary “Last Chance U.” Jones was a two-year starter for East Mississippi, where he helped the team to a perfect 24-0 record and two NJCAA national championships.

Jones decided to propose to his girlfriend, Kayla Fannin, before the San Francisco 49ers’ Monday Night Football game. Jones married Kayla in 2020, and wedding photos were shared on Instagram.
