On November 29, 1961, Thomas Edward “Tom” Sizemore, Jr. was born in Detroit, Michigan. He has stated that he is descended from French and Native American ancestors on his mother’s side.

As Sizemore’s mother, Judith Sizemore worked for the government. His father, Thomas Edward Sizemore, Sr., taught both law and philosophy. Roman Catholicism was the way Tom Sizemore was raised.

In early roles, Sizemore appeared in films including “Born on the Fourth of July,” “Lock Up,” “Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man,” and Oliver Stone’s classic “Point Break,” to name a few.

Sizemore’s early to mid-1990s work may be seen in films like “True Romance,” “Natural Born Killers,” and “Strange Days,” among others. Early on, these films assisted Sizemore in establishing himself.

Sizemore made a contribution to independent drama with “Love Is Like That,” costarring actress and model Pamela Gidley.

Sizemore kept appearing in films like Dreamcatcher (2003) and Paparazzi (2004) as well as on TV shows like “Dr. Vegas” throughout the 2000s. 2010 saw only one notable TV appearance for Sizemore, which was when he joined the cast of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” on VH1. In this episode, Sizemore’s extracurricular pursuits received more focus.

At that time, Sizemore’s life turned out to be more of a failure than a success. With later parts in drama films like 2011’s “Exit Strategy” and the CBS crime drama series “Hawaii Five-O,” he would nevertheless continue to perform in film and television.
