Tjahjo Kumolo has passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 64.
He was an Indonesian politician who served as Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform. He has also previously served as Minister of Home Affairs in President Joko Widodo’s 2014–2019 Working Cabinet.

He was married to Erni Guntarti, who is a doctor, and they have three children.
His first child, like his wife, is also a doctor. His second child works as an actress and the third child works as a flight attendant.
Kumolo died after being hospitalized for two weeks at Abdi Waluyo Hospital in Jakarta. The cause of death was due to multiple organ failures due to asthenia, lung infection, diabetes, and gout.
However, his four diseases were not known to the public prior to his death. On the same day of his death, he was buried in a military funeral at Kalibata Heroes’ Cemetery.
