Tina Kotek (born September 30, 1966) is a former speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives who served from 2013 to 2022. In the 2022 election, she is the Democratic nominee for Governor of Oregon.
Kotek grew up in York, Pennsylvania, and went to Dallastown Area High School. She went to Oregon in 1987 and graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies.

Her wife is claimed to be a lesbian who was one of the few openly LGBT members of the Oregon Legislature. The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund has backed her electoral efforts financially and strategically.
Since 2018, she has been training and studying in the United States, first at Louisiana State University and currently at Texas A&M University in College Station, where she lives.
