Madison Park, which is surrounded by a lake and covered in hills with soaring fir, pine, and contorta trees, has the feel of being its own tiny town.

The Attic is a bar located on E. Madison Street down by the lake, close to a bathhouse and a strip of grass that extends into a small beach.
Compared to the other buildings on the block, it is set back from the sidewalk.
A little evergreen tree can be seen in front, and a private patio is enclosed by a weathered red fence.
The bar’s interior is spacious and has a pub-like atmosphere.
Behind the bar, on a screen, are all the beers currently on tap, and a banner advertising the University of Washington hangs from the ceiling.
The walls are lined with dark brown leather seats, and the aroma of fries and beer fills the room.
