Timothy Leroy Lincecum (pronounced “The Freak”; born June 15, 1984) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Angels from 2007 to 2015. A two-time Cy Young Award winner, he helped the Giants win three World Series championships

Rebecca Asis, Lincecum’s mother, is the daughter of Filipino immigrants. Chris, his father, worked at Boeing. Tim held out for a larger signing bonus when he was drafted so that his father could retire.
