Disney/Thor: Marvel’s Love And Thunder has now been released in a total of 47 significant overseas box office locations and has generated $79.4M through Friday.
This puts it on track to meet and probably exceed the $150M pre-weekend offshore debut prediction.
The global gross, when combined with domestic until Friday, is $149M. For the global premiere, $300M is the target.

On a like-for-like basis, the first three days of play are estimated to have put Top Gun: Maverick in the lead by 62 percent, Jurassic World Dominion in the lead by 50 percent, Thor: Ragnarok in the lead by 40 percent, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the lead by 36 percent overseas.
Friday saw the debuts of Japan and Spain.
The former’s No. 1 $1.5M debut ranked third among MCU titles’ launch days during the epidemic era.
The $1.3M start was excellent for the fourth-highest pandemic beginning down here in Spain.
Disney/Thor: Marvel’s Love And Thunder added another 25 regions yesterday to add to its initial 17 overseas markets, bringing the total to 42.
The fourquel, which was directed by Taika Waititi, has so far made $48.6M.
