Before Nana Akufo-Addo’s assumption of office as President on January 7, outgoing President, John Dramani Mahama has pleaded with him to do something for him.
The outgoing President has pleaded that the NPP administration should ensure there is continuity in the country in order to get Ghana to develop since his administration has laid a solid grounds for the growth.
The President at a Sod cutting ceremony in Somanya in the Eastern Region said: “It is my prayer as I prepare to hand over the administration of the country on January 7 next year that, our exploit and initiatives will be sustained for the betterment of our dear nation Ghana“.
The Eastern Regional University will be called University of Environment and Sustainable Development and will be located in Somanya.
