Yesterday after a downpour, what was hailed as Ghana’s Dubai turned into the remnants of the town God destroyed after Noah’s Ark was closed.
The Interchange, a cool 74 million Euros project is a revolutionary piece of infrastructural architecture that has transformed Circle as it is popularly called, into a three-tier interchange set to dissolve the area of heavy traffic.
But the transformation could not prevent the place from flooding as traders, padestraints and cars went through hell to move through the waters to their various destinations.
The water betrayed Ghanaians and our love for unsanitary conditions by pulling out a huge number refuse dumped haphazardly.
